Brendan is an Irish trained physiotherapist who qualified from Univerity College Dublin in 2020 with a first class honours degree.

 

His professional journey began at the Mater Hospital in Dublin, which is the National Trauma Centre. During this time, Brendan honed his skills in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, specialising in post-operative care for major knee, shoulder, and spinal surgeries. He also gained extensive experience in managing various fractures and soft tissue injuries.

 

In addition to this Brendan worked with a local sports injury clinic, where he provided care for Gaelic football, soccer, and rugby teams. This exposure further enhanced his understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation strategies.

 Brendan is part of the physiotherapy team covering Randwick Rugby Union .

Beyond his clinical practice, Brendan embraces an active lifestyle in Sydney, where he enjoys activities like parkrunning and occasional sea swimming. His personal experience with an ACL injury while playing Gaelic football has given him unique insight into the challenges of recovery, allowing him to empathise with his patients' journeys.
